“Simple recipes men can make fast because we're lazy and we're hungry… and women like them too.”
It began as a joke around the woodstove — a stapled stack of stupid-easy recipes so a bunch of hungry guys could feed themselves without burning down the cabin. The joke got handed around, then mailed around, then it just plain refused to die. Ninety-some cookbooks later, here we are: still rustic, still hungry, still a little lazy — and finally proud of it.
“A good meal makes for a good day.” – Flannel John
